Specialized Educator, Behavior Interventionist
Dr. Janis Modeste is a highly experienced and respected educator with a career spanning over 25 years in the field of education, focusing on PreK-12th and specializing in supporting students with severe emotional disabilities and other special needs. Her expertise as a Behavior Interventionist has earned her recognition nationwide through her training and coaching programs.
In her previous role as the ESE Behavior Specialist for all grade levels in the Lake County District, Dr. Modeste made significant contributions to the development and implementation of effective behavior intervention strategies. Her dedication to supporting students with diverse needs and her ability to create positive and inclusive learning environments set her apart as an exceptional educator.
Dr. Modeste's passion for developing a systemic approach to behavior and Social Emotional Wellness is evident in her continuous collaboration with various stakeholders. By partnering with administrators, teachers, parents, and community members, she aims to create comprehensive systems that address the behavioral and emotional well-being of students. As a renowned trainer and coach, Dr. Modeste delivers professional development programs and curricula designed to target neurodivergent learners and provide individualized interventions. Dr. Modeste's educational background includes a Doctor of Education degree, a Master's degree in Special Education, and a Bachelor's degree in Business Management/Information Systems. Her diverse educational qualifications provide her with a unique perspective on educational practices and their application in supporting students with exceptionalities. Additionally, she holds certifications as a Board Certified Mental Health Coach, a Certified Educator from the FLDOE (k-12), and a Trainer from the Crisis Prevention Institute.

Mrs. Inman is a highly qualified parent coach with expertise in the fields of infant toddler development, play-based interventions, behavior analysis, and mindfulness, In her signature program, she uses them as a combined treatment modality to meet the unique needs of the families she serves.
She believes that learning should be fun and involve the whole family and/or village. Theresa is also an Author (How Can I Help My Child Communicate?), International Speaker, and Trainer.
Theresa is a beacon of hope for parents seeking freedom from stress, frustration, guilt, and doubt. Through her transformative ‘Your Breakthrough Parenting Solutions' program, she creates a holistic support system that nurtures children and empowers families, fostering confidence, joy, and a renewed sense of self.
Conservatively, she has served hundreds of satisfied families and seeks to make a greater impact in the world. Helping families who have children with autism or other learning differences.
Brittany Hartline, BCBA
With a solid foundation in Psychology and years of experience in the classroom, Brittany brings a comprehensive perspective to Applied Behavior Analysis. Before becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), she served as an Autism Teacher and a Behavioral Disability Teacher, gaining invaluable "on-the-ground" insight into the unique challenges students face in educational settings.
Today, Brittany specializes in bridging the gap between clinical goals and daily life through customized parent trainings. By empowering families with evidence-based strategies and infusing VIBES concepts, Brittany ensures that progress doesn’t just happen in the classroom or clinic—it happens at home.
Pamela Segura MSCP, LMHC-S, LPC
Experienced Therapist with a demonstrated history of working in the mental health care industry. Trained EMDR- Trauma Therapist, Crisis Intervention, Substance Use Disorders, Case Management, and Psychology. Strong healthcare services professional with a Master of Science (M.S.) focused in Mental Health Counseling and Psychology from Troy University- Orlando.

Crystal Duhart, LMHC-S
Licensed Mental Health Counselor with extensive experience in providing evidence-based care to children, adolescents, and adults. Their clinical background includes treating anxiety, depression, and trauma-related disorders across the lifespan. By utilizing a blend of VIBES, CBT, Play Therapy, or Mindfulness, crystal creates tailored treatment plans that address the specific developmental needs of each client. They are dedicated to empowering individuals and families to achieve long-term emotional stability and health.
Sharon Rodgers, M.Ed. Gifted Academic Specialist/Curriculum Coordinator
With over 45 years of dedicated service in special education, Mrs Rodgers is a cornerstone of our academic leadership. Her career is defined by a deep expertise in both gifted education and literacy. Having served at the district level, she was instrumental in the architectural design and implementation of comprehensive gifted programs that continue to serve high-ability learners today.
As a dual-specialist in giftedness and reading, Mrs. Rodgers possesses the rare ability to identify and support twice-exceptional (2e) learners. Her clinical skill in recognizing dyslexia ensures that no student’s potential is capped by a learning difference. At our academy, she oversees specialized programming for gifted and neurodivergent students while providing expert guidance to our tutoring programs.
